Bohemia, New York (September 2010) Data Device Corporation (DDC) introduces a new version of its BusTrACEr™ 1553 Data Bus Analyzer and Monitor software, enabling programmers to generate and monitor MIL-STD-1553 traffic utilizing an intuitive point and click GUI, and then quickly generate ANSI “C” code with the click of a button. BusTrACEr™ allows engineers to generate or monitor live 1553 data without writing any code, easily emulating a Bus Controller (BC), a standalone or concurrent Bus Monitor (MT), and up to 31 Remote Terminals (RT).
BusTrACEr features:
- Advanced error injection capability
- Inject errors such as bit and word count, glitch, inverse, and gap errors, in BC messages
- Set an error for a particular RT
- Easy-to-read graphical viewer
- Monitor individual RT bus load and activity
- Monitor bit-level timing
BusTrACEr™ offers full compatibility with DDC’s entire line of MIL-STD-1553 test and embedded cards, allowing design, test, and application engineers the ability to efficiently reuse prewritten code, without the cumbersome and time consuming need for reprogramming.
DDC offers a FREE 60 day full functional trial version of BusTrACEr™ ( http://www.ddc-web.com/software ) so that users can experience the time-saving value of one-click code generation.
“With BusTrACEr™, software engineers can create “C” code programs in minutes, saving time, reducing development costs, and quickly getting projects out of the lab and into deployment where they belong”, stated Sean Sleicher, DDC’s Data Bus Marketing Manager.
