Description:
The BU-67106K is a PCI Express (x1) card, designed for interfacing to a MIL-STD-1553 data bus. There are up to four dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 channels operating in Bus Controller (BC) or Multi-RT (0 to 31) modes. Each mode has the ability to run a concurrent Bus Monitor (MT). The card also contains software configurable bus coupling and termination options, eight digital discrete I/Os, eight avionics (+35V) Discrete I/Os, IRIG-B Time Code Input/Output, and a Time Tag Clock Input/Output.
The interface used on this card is DDC's AceXtreme™ architecture, an extension of the field-proven Enhanced Mini-ACE™ family of 1553 products. The card includes the BU-69092SX series software, which is DDC's MIL-STD-1553 AceXtreme™ C Software Development Kit (SDK). It supports all modes of operation (BC, Multi-RT, MT), including source code samples and detailed documentation. Optional software packages include BusTrACEr™ 1553 Graphical Analyzer/Simulator, dataSIMS Real-Time Avionics Bus Analysis & Simulation Software, and a full featured LabVIEW® package.
APPLICATIONS
The BU-67106K is the perfect COTS solution for applications requiring access to a MIL-STD-1553 data bus. The PCI Express interface makes it suitable for use with modern desktop computers, taking advantage of commonly available PCIe slots. Its high channel count and performance make the BU-67106K a practical tool for use in New Product Development, Systems Integration, Bus or Network Analysis, Production Testing, Troubleshooting, Data Recording, Depot/Flight Line Testing, and Automatic Test (ATP) applications.
