DDC’s BU-65566R 66MHz cPCI card is specifically optimized for high-speed 1553 applications, enabling the base CPU PCI bus and connected high-speed devices to benefit from the increased bandwidth offered at 66MHz. The card’s integrated auto initialization feature also allows the card to quickly process bus traffic upon power-up, even before the host processor is finished booting. To ensure data integrity and accuracy, a fully autonomous built-in self-test capability verifies proper operation of the MIL-STD-1553 protocol logic and RAM. The BU-65566R’s rugged conduction cooled construction is ideally suited for harsh military environments as well as avionic, spacecraft, communication, data recorder, and test system applications.
