DDC Announces Enhanced LabVIEW® Support for MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429 Cards!

Bohemia, New York (April 2009) Data Device Corporation (DDC) announces an Enhanced LabVIEW support package for MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429 data bus applications that use the National Instruments’ LabVIEW Graphical Programming Platform. Supporting DDC’s latest 1553 and 429 board offerings, the BU-69093 LabVIEW package provides three different levels of Virtual Instruments (VI’s) to accomplish simple or complex tasks with ease. The package consists of front panels, block diagrams, connector panels, and user samples to enable the user to get up and running quickly.

“Designed from the LabVIEW programmer point-of-view, the BU-69093 package provides a familiar set of support VI’s that conform to National Instruments’ LabVIEW coding styles, which allows for minimal coding development,” states Mike Hegarty, DDC’s Data Bus Marketing Manager.

DDC supplies MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429 test and simulation boards in a variety of form factors including PCI, PCI-Express, ExpressCard, USB, and cPCI. The Enhanced LabVIEW support package further extends the capabilities of these boards, complementing DDC’s expansive line of software support for Windows®, VxWorks®, and Linux®. DDC also offers optional software packages including the BusTrACEr 1553 Graphical Analyzer/Simulator, the DD-42999S0 Avionics Utilities ARINC software, and dataSIMS Real-Time Avionics Bus Analysis software.
