DDC Statement on RoHS
Data Device Corporation (DDC) is dedicated to developing and maintaining products and processes that meet government regulations, international standards and our customers’ expectations.
DDC depends on its customers for information on their RoHS requirements and supports the EU Directive’s exemption for military/defense related products in meeting customers’ high reliability requirements.
As part of this commitment, DDC has developed a transition strategy to offer RoHS qualified plastic Resolver-to-Digital Converter components (LPCC, PLCC & QFP packages), Synchro components, and MIL-STD-1553 components required by our customers.
Hermetic hybrid products manufactured by DDC are processed in accordance with requirements specified by DLA in MIL-PRF-38534. These requirements do not allow a lead-free solder termination finish. DDC’s base hybrid products will be excluded from the EU Directive since they are used in high reliability/military applications. These products will only be supplied with tin-lead solder when specified.
Many of these products without a solder lead finish can be considered to be RoHS compliant. Contact your Sales Representative for additional information regarding availability.
Our Ball Grid Array products are in certain cases offered both leaded and RoHS compliant. Contact your Sales Representative for additional information regarding availability.
PCB ASSEMBLIES (CARDS):
DDC offers printed circuit board base products that are excluded from the EU Directive since they are used in high reliability/military applications. These products will only be supplied with tin-lead solder.
Specific PCB Assemblies that are designed for non-ruggedized conditions will also be offered as RoHS compliant. See the specific product data sheets, or contact your Sales Representative for additional information regarding ROHS product availability.
