Description:
The ARINC 429 DD-42912M3-300 and DD-42924M3-300 are two versions of a high density, Type II PCMCIA card for interfacing with an ARINC 429 data bus. The DD-42912M3-300 version features one ARINC transmit channel, two ARINC receive channels, and two discrete outputs; while the DD-42924M3-300 contains two ARINC transmit channels, four ARINC receive channels, and one discrete output. The ARINC-429 card can be used as a data source for simulating or data receiver for analyzing data on a data bus. With excellent transfer reliability, the card provides scheduled and FIFO transmissions, receive data filtering and time stamping, and FIFO and mailbox reception modes.
DD-42912M3-300/DD-42924M3-300 software supports all modes of operation and includes 'C', LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI programming libraries. An optional Commercial Avionics Utilities Suite, with an ARINC 429 Data Bus Analyzer and ARINC 615 Data Loader, is also available. The WinPanel GUI allows users to transmit and receive data onto a bus without developing software. Optional dataSIMS software offers powerful monitoring, extensive post analysis capabilities, and simulation capability.
APPLICATIONS
The ARINC-429 DD-42912M3-300/DD-42924M3-300 is designed for avionics applications including: simulating and testing new systems prior to use with actual flight systems, in-lab end-item testing, and onboard testing via portable PC.
