The BU-65576 and BU-65586 PMC cards were developed as an extension to the immensely successful BU-65566 PMC card and are designed to be functional replacements for the BU-65566 card. Click here for compatibility matrix.

The BU-65576 and BU-65586 are rugged single- or multi-channel MIL-STD-1553 PMC cards. The design leverages DDC's industry proven Enhanced Mini-ACE® architecture. Each channel may be independently programmed for Bus Controller (BC), Remote Terminal (RT), or Monitor (MT). The card designs are identical except that the BU-65576 supports universal PCI signaling at up to 33 MHz PCI Bus speeds, whereas the BU-65586 supports 3.3V PCI signaling only but is 66 MHz capable.

Advanced architectural features of the Enhanced Mini-ACE include a highly autonomous bus controller, an RT providing a wide variety of buffering options, and a selective message monitor.  Each Enhanced Mini-ACE channel incorporates 64K words of RAM, and breaks out the standard RT address and EXT_TRIG/SSFLAG signals to PMC Pn4.  This rugged card includes primary and secondary thermal interfaces for conduction cooling as per ANSI/VITA 20-2005. The card can also be ordered with a no cost blank bezel for use in air-cooled environments.
