FibreMATRIX® VME Fibre Channel Fabric Switch

The FC-76000 FibreMATRIX™ series are 16-port VME Fibre Channel fabric switches optimized to meet the performance, reliability, and demanding environmental requirements of embedded, real time, military and aerospace applications. FibreMATRIX fibre Channel VME switches operate at either 1 Gb/s or 2 Gb/s data rates, with optical interfaces on a conduction- or air-cooled VME64x form factor.

FibreMATRIX's universal port design provides scalability to networks with higher port counts. Other features targeted for military applications include support Class 2 acknowledged and Class 3 unacknowledged Fibre Channel service; implicit login, 10/100 BASE-T Ethernet and RS-232 configuration ports; support of 127 priority levels; broadcast, multicast, and hunt groups; and ELS Clock Sync.

Based on DDC's own Fibre Channel technology, the FibreMATRIX fibre channel VME fulfills the mechanical, shock and vibration requirements of military/aerospace environments, within temperatures from -40° C to +71° C. Further, DDC will take under consideration requirements to customize FibreMATRIX in terms of form factor, port count, and/or media interface.
