STAR Series Power Controller Capabilities

Description:

The RP-22000 STAR Series of 28 Vdc Solid-State Power Controllers (SSPCs) provides circuit protection and remote power control for power distribution systems. Circuit protection is available with ratings from 25 to 120 amperes. Remote power control and monitoring is provided through optically-isolated standard logic I/O, "on/off" logic input control command and digital status outputs that provide load status feedback. The optical-isolation provides isolation between the control side and power side that protects the control system from dangerous spikes on the main power lines. These SSPCs can be part of a main distribution panel or remotely located near the load to minimize wire runs and weight.

The SSPCs circuit protection features I²R heat fusion/trip with thermal memory, associated with fuses, ideally protects wire from overheating. Using power MOSFET switches, these power controllers offer low "ON" resistance, low voltage drop, high "OFF" impedance, and low power dissipation. The RP-22000 STAR Series are impervious to moisture, non-flammable and electrically shock proof. Built using the latest technologies, they offer small size, low power, and high reliability.
