Bohemia, New York (April 2011) Data Device Corporation (DDC) introduces a new Multi-I/O Advanced Avionics Tester that connects to any USB port to provide comprehensive avionics test, simulation, and analysis support.
The BU-67211UX combines up to two dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 channels, with up to eight user programmable Receive/Transmit ARINC 429 channels, and up to two user programmable Receive/Transmit ARINC 717 channels, while providing support for IRIG-B, CANbus, Serial I/O, and Discrete I/O interfaces. The 1553 channels provide unique features and functionality such as concurrent BC + Multi-RT + MT, real-time intermessage event/data modification, error injection, advanced error sampling, and many other elements that are an excellent fit for new product development, systems integration labs, production test labs, and simulators. Each ARINC 429 channel is programmable to be a transmitter or receiver which allows for maximum flexibility and is ideal for systems integration labs.
Benefits include:
- USB 2.0 Host Connection — Use it Anywhere USB Ports are Present
- Program in Minutes with Automated Application Source Code Generation
- Common Software API Saves Time and Development Costs
- Standard Twinax Connectors for Quick 1553 Bus Hookup
- Programmable Direct/Transformer Coupling Reduces Cable Setup Time
