Micro Assembler- Second Shift

Second Shift: 4:00pm-1:00am

Primary/Essential Duties:

1. Perform a variety of assembly operations under a microscope with minimal supervision.
2. Perform die bonding, wire bonding, header assembly, or other operations of comparable difficulty.
3. Use small hand tools with a microscope.
4. May use automatic equipment to perform work processes.
5. Read and interpret assembly drawings and other documentation to determine sequence of operation and proper assembly procedures.
6. Assist in meeting department production goals.

Job Qualifications - Education/Experience:
1. Minimum of one-year micro assembly or related work experience.
2. Good eyesight and manual dexterity.
3. Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings.
4. Ability to work in a team environment.

Discrete Assembler

Primary/Essential Duties:
1.  Perform a wide variety of electro\mechanical assembly operations.
2.  Follow a standard sequence of assembly operations of great complexity including installing components into PC board, soldering parts to PC board, rework, prepping, bend and cut and other assembly operations if applicable.
3.  Assembly operations can include Wave Soldering, Kit Prepping, Conformal Coating and Part Marking.
4.  Read and interpret blue prints, rough sketches and verbal explanations to meet military specifications.
5.  Meet production goals.

Secondary Duties:
1.  Cross train on other department functions.
2.  Assist in other areas of the department as needed.
3.  Assemble small runs of cables as required.


Job Qualifications - Education/Experience:
1.  High school diploma or vocational training.
2.  Minimum of 1-2 years of electrical assembly and soldering experience.
3.  Able to work in a team environment.
4.  Ability to follow established procedures on routine work. Needs some supervision.

Primary/Essential Duties:

1. Perform simple transformer assembly, which may include any of the following functions:  Winding, Laminating, Soldering, Finishing.

2. Ability to work under maximum supervision.

Manufacturing Process Engineer, Jr.

Primary Duties:
1. Provide day-to-day process support to all areas of Discrete Manufacturing. 2. Propose and evaluate new processes, equipment and materials that will upgrade Manufacturing. 3. Assist with new product development and provide support for the timely fabrication of new products. 4. Perform/support the operation and programming of the Mydata Pick and Place Machine, Mirtec Automatic Optical Inspection System, MPM Stencil Printer, Airvac DS24 rework station and Profiling Reflow ovens.
Secondary Duties:
1. Represent Manufacturing at design reviews, as required. 2. Run experiments and tests under the direction of Management. 3. Represent Manufacturing on technical issues with vendors. 4. Assist in the creation and maintenance of process documentation (SOPs, travelers, etc.).

Job Qualifications - Education/Experience
1. Associate’s Degree or related experience. 2. Minimum of 5 years experience in surface mount or similar technology. 3. At least one year of electronics manufacturing process experience. 4. Knowledge of IPC 610 desirable. 5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 6. Proactive in seeking solutions to potential problems or inefficient processes. 7. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
